    Common Snipe
    I 've said a few times on this forum about not liking low angles and reflections too much. This picture shows partly why. One of the few times I turn the camera vertical, purely because it looks strange cutting a reflection in half. The result is an image with the subject small and not a lot of cropping choice. Perhaps keeping all the reflection in makes a more leasing pic

    John that is a wonderful looking shot. All shots need not be tight portraiture style shots. A wonderful story can be told from a wider view.

    I would normally not find this kind of shot as appealing due to the similarity of tones and colours of the bird
    and the vegetation. The reflection adds a beautiful dimension to this and I quite like what I see here John.
