    Hi Dan, I rather like it with the dark environment and the rich colour of the plumage, but on a more 'arty' basis. Perhaps a little less to the right and more to the left, with say, an inch off the foot so the two more brighter elements are removed?

    I quite like this shot Dan. The touch of colour from the foot adds a nice point of interest. The lack of any HA is no problem either.
    As Steve said, it's very arty.

    Quite an interesting image, Dan. Something I would never have thought of, but now I will be looking for a chance. I think the dark background makes the image. Thank you for sharing.
