Default Female little owl in late evening sun

The female once again turns up just before the juveniles make their way in the world alone ,the male bird will still feed them while the female sits it out, when the adult feeds the bird he makes the decision were to feed them and takes them away from the nest site further and further each time by enticing them and literally teasing them with the food, they very rarely feed them were they take or find food especially when they hit the four week old stage ,I have a abundance of juvenile shots this year a they have been pretty active at this site in comparison to the other two ,every year is different ,this shot was taken tonight just before sunset .......1dmkiv 300mm f4 iso 800 1/320 sec +1/3ev Name: bpn-female.jpg

I know what the boys meant, but its the yellow that should be toned down. Neat flaring BG, and I like the hairdo on this owl. Too bad the feet are hidden behind that log. Also a post-processing artefact along the top right of that log. Super nice details, and I am OK with the comp.
