    Default THEME: Iris bouquet

Photographed this earlier in the summer when the iris were in bloom. In hindsight I would have bunched the stems a bit closer for a more cohesive look at the base. Used a Jixipix Haiku overlay with darken blend at 40% opacity, topaz simplify impressions color with adjusted opacity and a smart photo editor frame.

Very pretty Nancy, I love the watercolor look and the internal/external frame concept works nicely!

Nancy, I love the Topaz Impressions effect, plus the translucence of the the petals. I suppose bunching the stems together might have also displayed more of the purple petals on the left, "white petal" side of the image, which would have integrated the image to some extent, but I really like it as is.

Nancy: I'd love to play with all the photo software you have!
For some reason, this image isn't working for me. The long white petal seems to interrupt the view. The processing doesn't bring out the beauty of the Iris.
The part I do like is the purple flower at lower right. Beautiful colors, enough detail graceful petals. Would have liked to see the photo of only that one blossom.

Anita, Not to worry! Like you I want honest feedback. I don't post for everyone to say "perfect". I like to know how my images impact others, however that may be. It's all good learning and for that I'm very appreciative.
