A river along the Alaskan highway in Yukon Territory.

I love this one in color but experimented a bit with it in black and white.

Comments and critiques welcome and appreciated.

    Gayle,

Great work. This looks like one of those old time landscapes from 19th century. Composition is right on. The river leading in from the corner diagonally to the BG mountain. Nice balance with the trees on each shore plus visual interest in the sky due to the clouds. A real winner.

    Hi Gayle,
I couldn't agree more with Robert! i'll add.....the tree lines also lead to the MTN. Just as somehing to try.........I did a "browser crop" .....from the right at the dark pine and equal on the bottom......all this does is put the mtn in the ROT..........not sure it makes it stronger.........as I really like it as is.

Love the comp and processing Gayle. Only thing is I might try to separate the tones on the mountain and trees in front of it.

I love it. Print it big and hang it up.

Like Robert said. Black and white here rocks. Very well seen and executed.

Thanks so much to everyone for your feedback. This is one of those treatments that I liked and wasn't sure others would. Roman, you're right. I should probably do a very slight crop on the right, mainly to remove that one really light tree trunk.
    Thanks again to all.
