    Default Purple Martin

Not an easy bird to photograph, they fly quite fast and erratically. The light angle on this one is not ideal but I like the pose.

Axel, I have tried and tried to get an image of these birds to no avail. I love the wing position and the top colors. Also, nice light for the eye. The BG is a very complimentary to the image, a nice pale blue. Very well done!

Definitely a tough bird to photograph. I like the wing position. You could do a selection on the head and lighten it up some.

Would love o have seen it in better light but it is a great pose and I would not throw this one out.

    Congratulations Axel!

You made a difficult flight to photograph looks so easy! You also have a very nice wing position and some very nice colors. Agree with the light angle, but well done to get this!

Amazing the females have a little purple too, never noticed that before. Good job, not the best light angle as you mention, but hey, I'd take it :)

Congratulations Axel. These are tough birds to capture but I love the beautiful wing position and the good eye contact. As mentioned I would have loved to have seen this in better lighting but that is not always possible. Fine work !!
