    On a mission... love it, never have the red eyes looked so good. Very different and effective.

    Very nice POV and pose on the bird. I would have liked to see more detail on the bill.

    Great head-on shot. I would remove the white OOF blobs above the drake and maybe crop out half of the water below the bird. Otherwise, I like it a lot.

    Any lower and you would need a snorkel!
    Love the POV and the "in your face" feeling of this image.
    Just wish the entire bill was in focus and that you had been able to get more DOF.

    IMHO you could've easily gotten more DOF with different settings and still have a perfectly sharp image.
    But, slower SS would mean a loss of motion freezing capability in case of action. It's a compromise at the end of the day.
    I would have tried for more DOF.

    Lovely low angle, great head-on pose too.
