    Default Pearls of Morning Dew

This image started out as a spider web that was thick with morning dew. Some of the web had broken off. Also, I was in the middle of a guided birding walk when I made the image, so I captured it quickly without ensuring that all parts of it were in focus. But it had promise. So, I selected the quadrant of the image that was mostly intact, and in focus, and I duplicated it several times to create this design. Then I converted it into B&W using a high contrast blue filter. I created a second design as well...not as intricate as this one, which I may post, depending on your suggestions.

Super creative and very well done! Love how you created such an intricate and symmetrical design. The fine details and small size of the center diamond shape contrasts and holds together all the other strings of pearls so well. I also like the two larger areas of black space, it keeps all the other stands and dew drops from being overwhelming and helps create those graceful swooping curves. B&W is perfect for this.

Very creative Wendy, it almost feels like you are getting sucked into a vortex if you look at it long enough!

Hi, Wendy, this is very creative and I love the black and white treatment. To be perfectly symmetrical I think you need to take a sliver off of the left side

I think you did a great job! A creative approach to a spider web. I love those gleaming water drops. Pleasing design. Works great in B & W. The diamond shape in the center pulls my eye in; for such a small element it has lots of power. I don't see the lack of symmetry mentioned by Cheryl.

Very cool image! Good creative thinking and execution. I love the design made by the web and droplets and how you used just a portion of it for your own design. Well done all around!
