    Agust:

As a lover of loons, I am always thrilled to see some of other species than what we see in the states.

Great perspective( low), impressive fish, well shown, delicate texture on the head and ribbing on the back of the neck.

    Classic red eye.

My only suggestion would be to tone down the band of bright water along the bottom of the frame, and the whites on the fish.

I have attached a copy of your image with these revisions. Just an option.

    Looking forward to more images!

    Cheers

    Randy

Lovely close-up with great POV, fabulous look at the herring. Good repost by Randy. It might need just a bit of CCW rotation?

I like your image, Agust. The bird looks so much like a grey loon, very similar. I agree that Randy's repost takes it up a notch toning down the highlights on the fish. Thank you for sharing.

Great image. I like Randy's repost and I would also add just a smidgen of CCW rotation to level the white band on the water. Great background, details and awesome prey inclusion.

Beautiful bird and wonderful low perspective but there are unmentioned problems. 1-the fish could use some NIK Detail Extractor on the bright silver. 2-the bird's head is angled slightly away from us, likely because the bird was angling slightly away from you.... . Yes to the need for some CCW rotation. Still a wonderful image in all.
