This time a giraffe appears to be sniffing the leaves and about to chomp on them.

Hi Sanjeev lovely stretched Giraffe portrait.
Not looking on my proper screen , so cannot really comment on color /tone , just think the HL are just a little bit strong from my POV and and the fine details are looking a bit oversharp in the HL .
Like the well separated BG and the framing is perfect for me .
    Nice work , Doc !!

Hi Sanjeev, agree with Andreas, however the icing on the cake would have been that 'flexible' tongue around one of the branches.

Hi Sanjeev - Nice warm light and I too like the comp. Try a luminosity mask at about 30-35%, just give it a bit more richness while taming the highlights. If it were mine, I would have gone for a bit more dof in the field to try to get the ear in focus too. You had the ss.

Nice light and close-up. Steve is right, that tongue would have been nice to get!
I think stopping down for more DOF might have hurt you here if you tried it, given the BG is already quite busy and contrasty and competing a bit for my attention. More DOF would have given more definition there too...
