love the topside view and the BG, soft light is great too. looks like the AF locked on the fat wing leaving the head and the rest of the bird soft

It looks good to me Will. You can check the softness mentioned, but I kind of see both wings relatively sharp as well as the bill?
I love this kind of light for white birds, you have done nicely here.

I like the dorsal view Will. The background looks to have a slight purple cast although the bird's crown looks neutral white, might be worth checking the RGB numbers. Regards, Ian.

I like the pose, background and head angle. I do agree that the image is soft overall.

The pose is just absolutely perfect - you could not have asked for a better one! Nice crop too, and the exposure is spot on. I agree the face looks softer than the wings...I'm sure some additional sharpening there would help (at least for web presentation).

Will I can see an improvement re the sharpness in the repost, I would be pleased with any flight shot it would certainly be a keeper for me, I am hopeless when they are flying.

I agree with Akos in feeling that both wings are very sharp but that the face is a bit soft.... Strange in that this is the second image I have seen here tonight with that same look. IAC, I think that the WHITEs of the head and face are too dingy.... Perhaps lightening them would make the head and face look sharper.....
