A portrait of an elephant from Chobe NP, Botswana. This guy decided to show us his displeasure though we were on the track and they were feeding close to the dirt road. I have a similar image in landscape orientation with more room on either side but thought this works well.

Looks like you were being "revved up" as they say! I like how the BG ele is placed below the flapping ear of the main ele.
Nice exposure and handling of contrast etc in this kind of light.
    Vertical framing worked well IMHO

Hi Sanjeev -- you have handled the light very nicely , agree with Morkel on handling of contrast . i think another option would be to crop a bit from the top and provide some space at the bottom , but i dont know whether you had space available at the bottom. But this comp is also working well . TFS !

Hi Sanjeev - I like the displayed ears and the twisted trunk. I agree you handled the light well and vertical was a good choice. I also like the ele in the bg. I would prefer more room below and also feel it needs a small amount of ccw rotation (level the eyes not the hillside).

Hi Sanjeev i really like this one , a can almost hear /feel the noise that comes with such ellie activity .
Well handled light situation and the comp works for me , the ellie in the in the back is a nice add on .The pose of the boy is priceless to me !!
I might ,as a personal pref , just multiply the HL a tiny fraction for a bit more tone in them.

Just a question do the "big bulls" just have that tiny tusks ? the ones i have sen in other locations do have a lot thicker tusks even if shorter , also the skin does look a bit more like being from a "teenager" ?

    TFS Andreas
