    I saw this flower when I was out looking for fritillaries and the composition just caught my eye.
    The fritillaries didn't show but we had a pleasant walk!

    I agree, a nice composition--perhaps a sliver off the top? EXIF?

    Well seen Jonathan. I like the simple but effective composition and the well worked DOF which allows the subject to stand out from the BG. I agree to a little off the top.

    I was expecting to see one black fly, but all those little flies are great. Very nice.
