    I have been tied up with macro photography recently so I have had no time for bird photography but I will have to get back to the swallows, they will be migrating before too long!

    Hi Jonathan, not an easy subject or shot to pull off so you did well. I assume this is a big crop, if so I would try to work on getting closer and use a hide. If this is a crop then something like a 4.5CW rotation will help. I like the trail of water drops and upright wing, however, I think you need to refine the settings in one of the Case settings, doesn't matter which one, but this should help in getting a sharper image.

    A tough image to try for. Agree on the rotation. The bird is a little too soft for this to work for me.

    A good effort John but there is too much subject movement for this to work successfully....sorry.

    I think the main problem was one of focus point as opposed to subject movement, I am happy with the tail end as opposed to the head end
