    Default Spotted Sandpiper Catching Flies.

We were entertained by this juvenile bird on the other night by watching him catching flies.
This bird hardly ever stops moving.
Even when it stands, the head moves back and forth and the tail up and down.
    Thanks for looking.

Hi Karl- Yes don't they all !! The calories they get through must be something else !Grand shot. Being pickyI would try a little more room on the left if possible and darken the whole image a bit. Just my tuppence worth. Still a cracker whatever.

Excellent action! Quite sharp with nice DOF. I really enjoy the feather details. A little more on the left would be nice, but a fine image as is!

Great detail and a nice action shot Karl, does seem slightly angled away though.

I agree with more room, and lowering the exposure a bit. Unique image of it on the grass and with a fly in the bill...it would make Mr. Miyagi proud!! (youtube "Karate kid fly catch")

Excellent catch (for both you and the bird) Karl.
Agree about darkening and a little more room.
