    Here's a young one that allowed us to see its beautiful dorsal and wing patterns by banking towards us. A bit of a grab shot as I had basically finished my session (but still on the ready in case of anything on the way out).

    Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/2000s., f/6.3, ISO 400, natural light, handheld, cropped for comp (~70% FF), minor eye work, extracted more details from the tail area via burn tool.
