This handsome fellow was imaged in the fall several years ago and never processed. Late afternoon, with the light starting to fade

Post: Small crop to level and for comp. Selective sharpening. Cleaned up some minor debris in water.

    Advice and comments always appreciated.

Very nice image Randy. If it were mine, I'd leave a bit room below and behind it.
The colours in the water are great!

Handsome indeed! Lovely BG colors and very nice details. I could do with a bit more on the bottom, and/or darken the lightest area there.

Lovely background colours and I give a thumbs up for more on the bottom too. Nice work Randy.

Nice head turn, colors in the bird and nice water, Randy. I like the composition as is.

Thanks everyone. The area below the crop as shown had a pretty weak reflection and brighter areas of reflections that didn't work well. I have already toned down the lighter part of the water at the bottom.
But, I think your observations about the crop are valid, and I will rethink how to handle that!

    Cheers
