    Lovely image Will with the diagonal FG and the specks of colour from the flowers.
    Excellent HA and EC (eye contact) and IQ; the only thing I'd check is the very bright white patch above the rump.
    Looks a little blown. Maybe it's just the jpeg.

    nice capture,nice pose,nice detail,like the BG,agree about white above rump looks a bit blown.TFS.

    Hi Will, excellent eye level perspective here, lovely pose and HA, and I like that the bird is more in the open than in the heather.

    Great image, I like everything about it and especially the environment it is in. Maybe a little hot on the whites on the rear of the bird.

    Will the bird looks in very good condition for the time of the year, they often look a bit rough after the breeding season, it's certainly made a very good image for you, like the way the bank drops away and a smashing backdrop.
