    Excellent image beautiful Mallard in beautiful lights. I like the spot light effect on dark BG and superb HA.
    Great details in plumage.

    Hi Dan, lovely low angle here, and I do like the soft light. Your comp is perfect, and just wish she had turned her head slightly backwards towards you. It is a female isnt it ?

    Don't know if you ran any NR, but you've surely mastered high ISOs with this body. Terrific quality. I too think that the head needs to be turned our way a bit.

    I think the Nikons handle the high ISO better than Canon. At least that's my impression.

    Excellent image Dan, HA mentioned as not quite ideal, but besides that it is a very lovely low POV image with fabulous details.

    Aside from the head angle the bird is rendered well with high ISO and giving good detail. Nice work.
