    Good evening Friends,

Hope you all had a pleasant Sunday,

I dug out from the archives a few images and thought this one was worth sharing, love this little Sparrow carrying a feather and I hope it made a great addition to her nest:)

Hope you go to the "feathers" tonight with a smile,

...and I thank you for viewing - much appreciated:)

Very cute shot. Wonder if the chicks all hatched with success?

    Thank you Akos,

I hope they did, LOL. This was taken at a place called Gharaghab in the Kalahari... myself and Andre were lying on the sand around lunchtime, trying to grab a few shots of some cute little Three Striped Mice when this Sparrow pitched up. We carried on shooting birds and mice for some time... unbeknown to us, some 30 m away a biiiig lion we named Maximus killed a springbok and dragged it under a bush to eat it. All very quietly and luckily Andre went to fetch his bean bag, he spotted the lion and called me to have a look. The big boy polished the entire springbok in under one hour...

    Have a nice week-end:)

Gosh, that may have been a bit scary with the lion so close.
    Lucky Andre spotted him!
