    Snipe in Habitat
Spent a very enjoyable two hours photographing this bird feeding and bathing from our new wader hide. Very confiding. One of the easiest birds to photograph once they have settled. Early morning this one as you can see by the dew. I think this shot perhaps shows how vegetation can enhance a shot. WDYT ?

Thanks for looking and comments on last pic.

You guys on the other side of the pond are killing me with snipe images. Nice image, John, thank you for sharing.

Nice exposure and overall capture. The vegetation is fine. I'm undecided about the plant behind the bird. Sadly my snipe images are few and far between:(...Nice work John!

I love the vegetation. In fact, I'd love to see more.
Very lucky in a way, but hides are pretty awesome when you get the birds oblivious to your presence.

    Excellent work. Thanks for sharing.

I'd be happy with any Snipe shot, but this one is really good. The vegetation helps make the image. Repost cleans it up nicely.

Yep, the habitat works very well here. Good clean up on the repost too. Nicely done overall. Careful with the sharpening of the dew around the legs though.
