I've been travelling and am now without my DSLR, which is in shop for repair. Glad to be back after a short break.

This is not very OOTB. I took this at Merryspring Garden near Camden, Maine, with 105mm macro on Nikon D300. Topaz Simplify >Buzz Sim, and NEP >Vignette. Texture: Texture 313: https://www.flickr.com/photos/lenabe...3/in/contacts/

Hi Anita, I think this is a lovely image and feel no need to apologize regarding appropriateness in OOTB. I love the delicious colors and the subject and composition remind me a lot of a creamsicle wave, if that makes any sense. It feels to me like a luscious breaking wave of flower-ness. Very nice.

yes, I thought of ice cream, too. Not OOTB? Why not? A simple image worked on with several techniques, filters, etc. Beautiful and dreamy

Love the colours, lucsious! It looks like an abstract wave. Well seen to get the original capture. Great sense of movement.

Anita, this is absolutely beautiful. The use of Buz Sim, the diagonal placement of the petal, the curve and the soft colors make this especially wonderful

Anita, this is wonderful. The others have touched on all the positive points. I experimented by taking a bit off the left and added some to the right.

Anita, I love, love this total immersion of color and softness with the delicate curved lines! I like that Gary added some to the right, but I prefer the softer colors of your OP. BTW, It also reminds me of a luscious creamsicle !

Anita this is gorgeous!! Love the colors and the treatment is perfect! I've been busy; we bought a motorhome and have been working on a few glitches we encountered on the 600 mile drive home, it's a used one.
