    Default WILD DAISYS

A local wildlife management area has several large patches of wild daisys. The image was captured with my 600mm lens. I recently acquired Topaz Impressions and used a Monet filter.

The Monet filter created a lovely, painterly image. The tall stem, with leaves, buds and flowers is pleasant. I especially like the bunch of flowers at the top. The vertical is a good format. I'm finding the 2nd bunch of flowers in the lower right to be distracting from the simple elegance of the main stem.

I like the processing too. I have never had much success with photographing clusters of flowers. I might clone out the one flower in the LRC, it seems to be the one that catches my eye.

Hi, Gary, I like your impressionist treatment and the composition and vertical crop. I don't mind the second group of flowers in the background but might tone them down just a bit
