    Hello Sanjeev!

I must have said this before, but I am really amazed at the number of images you have brought from this trip, as well as the variety of species!

Those dark feathers are not easy to expose but you have done a great job here, good DOF, some nice detail in those feathers and that bright red is spot-on!

Well processed and presented, very nice work Sanjeev, thank you so much for sharing

    Sanjeev:

That massive bill, coupled with the slight upper eyelid shadow onto iris, gives him a rather sinister look.

Well exposed under fairly bright conditions, with good detail held i the reds. Might be able to tease just a bit more out of the darks below, but presents nicely as is.

The POV is a good compromise , any lower and the grasses would have blocked more of the bird.

    Cheers

    Randy

PS: I had a second, so lightened the darks on the lower chest and abdomen, and then added in a bit more contrast to the lightened areas. It opens up a little more detail there. Just an option for you.

Well caught image mate under hard light. But I suppose you get a lot of that in Africa.
The framing works well, the HA is fine too. Good details and I like how Randy revealed more detail in the dark plumage.

Excellent image in habitat, Sanjeev. Lovely exposures in blacks and superb composition.
