    I like the dark setting, eye clarity and intent stare. I would add a little up top composition wise. Nice image John.

    Hi John, I really like the detail and colours on this fellow, sharp with good DOF. Nicely separated from the foliage BG, and if anything, I would just neaten up the eye a touch.

    The bright twig must've been to the left of the wing as I see some repeating patterns there.
    If you do use Photoshop, the content-aware fill tool is quite good in these kinds of scenarios.
    Wonderful image with excellent sharpness and detail.

    Yes Akos- I see whatyou mean.
    I don't have photoshop. I use Paint Shop Pro 7 which I got free with a camera magazine 10 years ago.
