Default Ground hornbill in golden light

A ground hornbill stands out amidst tall reeds at Okavango, Botswana. The light was sweet and made the yellow-orange-red reeds look like flames and the hornbill gave an alert pose.

Hi Sanjeev, love the light in this, and how the Ground Hornbill is posed above the grass. You were lucky to have achieved this angle, as they are always on the move, and of course turned away looking for their next meal. Well captured.

I like this, Sanjeev. Grasses are beautiful and typical beady eye contact from the Hornbill.

I'd love a bit more room below if you have it. Wish you didn't have the grass intersecting the bill.
I really like the tonal difference between the bird and the warm BG.
    Nicely done! TFS

I like the setting, composition and light. Agree with Akos about that grass cutting across the bill. Still a beauty Sanjeev!
