This is a photo from my recent trip with my sister and niece to the Olympic Peninsula in WA, made at La Push Beach near sunset. I used (mostly) Nik Silver Efex with split toning.

Hey, Judy, it's great to see you back in OOTB! I love the split toning and the effect that you got from Silver Efex. I hope we see lots more from you!

    Judy,

Greetings. I like the old postcard look and the quiet feeling of the beach scene. Thanks for posting.

    Cheers,

Very nice scene and toning Judy. I might take a bit off the top, as the sky is featureless. The group of birds is a very nice focal point and I like the diagonals of the water on the sand in the fg.

I like the way the rocks and birds balance the image and the diagonal lines of the beach.

Thanks everyone! I have been sick with a virus and still am but thought I'd check in and see replies since I forgot to turn on notifications. Jackie, good point about the sky. I should have noticed that when cropping.

Looks like an old-fashioned image. I like the strong blacks. Beautiful luminance on the sand. Strong nicely-shapped diagonal lines in the sand. The large rock-islands balance the birds. The gritty texture adds to the old look. This is a strong image. Hope you are feeling better.
