A rather unusual title, but I do not know how else to describe those lovely visitors who can potentially create havoc around the camp in the Kalahari:)
Just felt like sharing something different, captured this fellow in 2010 during a walk around the camp site in the KTP, shot without support while busy learning how to make the best of my D300S...

Thank you so much for viewing and comments on my previous images, I appreciate it.
Hi Gabriela,
This is such a lovely image. Superb details, sharp and wonderful comp with smooth BG. I love the eye contact here and the head parallel to the camera sensor. Well done.
cheers,
Sanjeev
Hi Gabriela -- Superb IQ and lovely colors and comopsition here. That eye looks mesmerizing very nicely processed . Appears to me a tad oversharpened on the back of its neck and a dust spot near to ur surname , easy fix for sure ! TFS
Hi Gabriela, a lovely image and I really like the overall comp and pose. Great colour and depth of detail, but would also look at Haseeb's comments too. Nicely executed, a strong portrait indeed.
Hi Gabriela , stunning portrait with superb techs .
I might try a tiny bit more punch to the blacks without loosing the detail in there, just a thought ?
Just thinking... we just sold one of those D300S cameras today, never used them after upgrading except for some studio work. I still manage to find some decent images taken with the D300S, especially when the light was good and did not have to push the ISO:)
Busy working on a very gory image from 2012 now, not sure I should post it though...If you have the time, kindly have a look at my Squirrel images in the Story Sequence Forum, I am sure you'll be smiling tonight...
Thank you so much for taking the time to look and comment, I did not flip this one
Warmest regards,

Hi Gabriela - A stunning portrait with great detail and pov. Agree about the sharpening on the neck/back and maybe a little less on the inner ear too. Overall though a beautiful portrait. I'm glad you always pay attention to the smaller creatures too.
