Nice side lighting has given the eye a real glint in this shot Andreas, and the BG is nice and complementary without being overpowering. I love it when you can get up close and see the textures in the horns
Beautiful capture, Andreas - love the rich colours, those superb textures, clarity of the eye, also those gorgeous antlers.
I really like the pose from the subject here, the Elk is attentive, inquisitive, a little hesitant perhaps. The smooth, deep green BG adds so much to this already well-framed and presented image.
A pleasure to view, thank you Boetie - just wonderful!
Really stunning portrait Andreas, showing that the rack doesn't always need to be fully included - appreciate the facial detail and soft light in this one.
Really pops from the BG!
