Hi Joe, excellent DOF on the head and bill for F/5.6. I like this pose with the bill following the line of body, and the light shows up the eye very well. I do like your comp too - enough space all round. Well captured.

Great sharpness and details, nice pose, clean background. Great overall portrait, Joe. It's probably a full frame image, but you still can add some canvas to the top and front using content aware to make it even better.

Just a beautiful portrait Joe, and the light is so soft and gentle.
    Well done and TFS.

Lovely portrait, Joe. Love the textures of the plumage and tones on the bill. I would be tempted to darken the light areas in the BG.

WOW! I love this one Joe.
The IQ is topnotch and I like the lines created by the pose.
The BG is beautiful and really compliments the bird well.
I think I would darken the LUC a bit but otherwise no nits from me,

I've looked at quite a few images tonight and even the bad ones are good...This jumps out as an outstanding image. No further comment required ....it's all there
