    Default Common Tern.

It was fun and surprising to have this individual, plus a begging juvenile, land very close to me on a local beach recently. This adult tern was walking away from said juvenile, with the young one (just out of the frame at right) following in pursuit of an easy meal that was no longer so easy to get...

    Daniel:

In addition to the nice tech. details, the marching pose makes this one work for me. If both feet were down, the low angle would cause us to lose the colorful feet.

Lovely background, like the sweep of the wing and tail.

    Cheers

Hi Dan, getting down really low here has framed the Tern so well against the surf BG. Excellent exposure all round, well timed to capture the raised foot, and I do like the splayed tail. The pastel graduated colours to the BG add a lot to this image.

    Daniel,
Love the marching pose and the lines created by the wing and Tail feathers.
Great POV and exposure is perfect. Soft overcast light really helps when photographing these guys. You also have a great BG
The feet seem very red to me. Perhaps it is a regional variation? The common terns here have red feet but definitely not this bright.

THe movement adds some nice dynamics to the image Daniel.
I like the low POV and the simplicity of the tones as well.

This bird has a great and very quaint pose with the foot raised. The colours and detail are all there and all techs look good. Nice work.

I like the walking pose, IQ, red foot and composition. The different view of the Tern is very interesting. Excellent image Daniel!
