I was near the Florida Suncoast Seabird sanctuary early in the morning, but the skimmers on the beach were still in the shade, so I went to the waters edge, when this fine looking bird wandered past. Im still not 100% on the ID, so a virtual is on offer for the first positive shout!

Love the POV Mike. The concentration on its face and the raised foot look great! No idea about ID, just a bit of raptor food is what I would say in this case.

Good light, low angle and pose, Mike. My guess is a Willet but a bit out of my geographical zone.

Nice low angle, interesting pose, nice light and the incoming surf makes an excellent background.
    The bird is a Willet.

If I got down this low it would take all day getting up:(

A superb pose with this bird and I'd be happy with this image for sure:)

you had nice light, I like the raised foot although I wish it had not intersected with the far leg. sharp details, there are a few hot spots near the belly area. I also wish the wave in the BG had not intersected with the bird

Hi Mike, excellent low angle, and I like the leaning pose and raised foot. I do like the pastel blue of the water.
