Lovely pose and colours, Stuart. I wonder if a wider aperture was an option to render the BG more smoothly - you seem to have plenty of DOF and I wonder if the plane of focus was in front of the parrot. Image really conveys the inquisitive intelligence of a parrot nicely.

Stuart I like the colours on the bird also the bit of habitat, could be my eyes but the head does look a little soft to me, must be great to photograph these exotic birds, lovely image.

Beautiful bird, lovely perch with the green leaves, nice background. Its hard to tell why but it appears the bird, head especially, could be sharper. Thank you for sharing, Stuart.
