    Default Yellow-crowned Night-Heron over Mimosa

Another juvie YCNH from Ocean City Rookery last month, captured just after take-off. Mimosa blossoms (Albizia julibrissin) below; salt marsh in the BG. C&C always appreciated.

Hi Bill , lovely image with great colors and overall nice details .
Well framed and the HA and wing position are working well together .
I just might drop the blues sightly in the shadow areas , just my 2 cents .
    Lovely work , TFS Andreas

Excellent capture, Bill. Like the dorsal view, wing position, and crop keeping the blossoms in the frame. Well done.

Bill, I always enjoy your images, and this is no exception. Excellent take off shot with excellent head and body position. Wonderfully sharp eye! Lovely soft background. Very nicely captured and processed!

Thank you all for your kind comments. I'll have to admit that the moment I clicked the shutter I knew I would like this one. I turned to my wife and said "We can leave now." But we stayed at the rookery for another hour and a half, and did get some more shots.
