    Heron at our new wader scrape hide. Just got home after 11 hours in the hide!
    Worth it though ! This is one from a couple of days back.
    Nice to see a bit of habotat in.Problems with white feathers from a swan roost !! Took some cloning out ! Tried to darken white ripples too. I did say tried !!

    I like the muddy foot, pre-strike pose and composition. I would drop the saturation of the BG a bit. Nice image John.

    Thanks for pointing it out Jim Now you mention it ---it looks b***dy terrible !!!!Mind you the reeds were green and the waters green!

    I'm OK with the saturation in the first post but an average between the two might make it about right for my eyes. I share your grief regarding swan feathers!
