    Wonderful colors and details on the bird. Of course we could all hope for the subject to be off the ground in most cases but I'm guessing this is where you typically find these little guys foraging!

    Wonderful colors and feather details. I've never seen this one before. Unfortunatley, sometimes they just don't give us a pleasing background or foreground.

    Cracking little bird Richard, nice detail and colour,been picky might take a tiny bit off the top, just my own thoughts of course, nice work.

    Hi Richard this works well as presented for me , lovely detail and color in the bird .Agree on shaving off some off the top of the frame.
    You did well with the low POV here .

    I like the low angle, feather detail, HA and agree with taking some off the top as well. A new bird for me TFS.

    Agree with the comp suggestions and I would tone down or remove the blub blob under the tail. This is a beautiful bird and your photograph has done him justice.

    What a delightful bird and setting Richard. All looks good to me except that one bit of bright grass which has covered the bird's flank. However the image is still a keeper IMHO.
