This was taken last year in Costa Rica. It was a set up and a banana was used as an attractant. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Perfect focus on the head, Jim. Excellent use of fill flash to highlight bird without looking flashed - brings it out well against the background. The only thing that disturbs me is the downward facing foliage on right of the perch - plants generally grow up toward the light which makes me wonder why theses are all facing down - burning the area in a bit may be an option to darken them. I like the inquisitive pose.

What a beautiful bird Jim. I love the fact the the name of the bird is so accurate.
Great IQ in the bird, love the perch.
Really sweet to see the little feet wrapped around the little branch.
I really like the curly-cue plant below the feet.
    Good use of fill flash.

Very nice image. Nice clean background, interesting pose of the bird, nice perch. Fine feather details seem a bit smeared even in the good focus area of the head/neck. Maybe some sharpening refinement would help.

Beautiful bird. Nice and sharp around the eye. Less so on the body, on my screen; OF or low SS? Good inquisitive pose.

A delightful bird and capture with good IQ Jim. I would just tone down some of the brighter vegetation.
