I was following this individual flying past me, and right at the perfect time it decided to bank to its right. I was in landscape orientation and just barely fit the wingtips in so this is cropped from horizontal but with canvas added top and bottom.

Perfectly outstretched wings, and the light soft enough to maintain some detail. You caught him just at the right time, before he got past you. Nicely done to keep from clipping the wings.
Great job on this, Dan. Lovely plumage detail under the wings and the catchlight is crucial with many terns as their eye otherwise disappears into the black cap.
