I photographed this earlier in the summer before the intense summer heat & humidity set in and stopped all outside activity! I used a layer of Fractalius (my own preset), 2 separate layers with selectively reduced opacity from Topaz Impressions, selective sharpening and curves. The wind was blowing and I used that to my advantage to add some blur to the jumble of small daisies. I made sure the black eyed susan stayed in the frame.

I really like the stems of the daises going on the diagonal, and the curve of the petal on the black-eyed Susan. I always find it hard to make an image with lots of small flowers to work, because there are generally too busy. I think you have succeeded here.

Nancy, this is spectacular! I love everything about it, especially the coy little petal on the black eyed Susan

Gorgeous! Love that one petal, and the two other OOF black-eyed Susans echoing it. The daisies are wonderful, with the outlining bringing the sharper ones into prominence and letting the BG ones provide a soft BG. I love how the depth goes so far back.

    10/10!
