    I was trying for hummingbirds at a local garden when this Monarch showed up. Shot from car.
    Did some BG smoothing in upper and lower right.

    Just lovely. You captured a great pose of the butterfly sipping nectar, and both front legs and both antennae visible; all with great details and beautiful summer, sunny colors. This image really lets me concentrate on all those white spots on both the body and wings. Wonder how they help in the survival of the butterfly.

    Really great stuff, so perhaps worth cloning out the diagonals in the lower left background.

    Quite lovely Allen. The diagonals that Ron mentions, if evicted would add to the lovely soft background.
