    Gorgeous oranges against the greens and posed at a pleasing angle. Lovely detail but missing some tack-sharpness on the edges of the wings. But that's not a huge flaw to me -- the DOF was probably about a tenth of a mm.

    Love the colors of this species. Well captured. Nice sharpness in body and most of wing. A pleasing image.

    This has a lovely soft-textured feel to it. I can see/feel the softness of the hairs on the back of the butterfly; something I suspect I really couldn't feel through the roughness of my fingers. I like that the texture of the leaf is sharp just surrounding the butterfly and then fades off into the other greens of the bkgd. This is a wonderful, serene moment suspended in time.
