A tight headshot of an Impala/Lechwe (I get confused as to which is which)! I liked how those large ears face towards us showing the nice pattern. Also the eye contact. Hope you like it.

Nice colour palette and frame-filling features here.
One could argue that the LHS blade of grass impeding on a clear view of the head is a distraction, but it looks quite "in its place" there, part of the habitat.

This would be a young Lechwe, (but could also be a Reedbuck ) - definitely not an Impala...

Hi Sanjeev - nice look at the lechwe with great sharpness and dof. Those long eyelashes are amazing. I also like the color palette and complementary bg colors. Well done.

Hi Sanjeev a very fine image all around . Lovely processed with a wide range of detail and tones .You have a very pleasing soft BG with a lot of little color variation which i quite like .
Only this one big grass stem is somehow distracting, but nothing you can do about now .
Nice work Sanjeev , TFS Andreas

    Hi Sanjeev,

I entirely agree with comments above - this works for me too, fantastic colours and warmth, beautiful pose, and I am fine with the grass stem, I think:) A bit bright on the neck, not a big deal but if this were mine I would look into it.

Good DOF and very nice detail, impressive portrait my friend!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
