It looks like a nice enough scene, but the light was already getting to a stage where it did you no favours. I'm the last one to say we must only shoot landscapes in golden light, though.
Nice use of layering in your composition - it's a pity we can't view it bigger.
Please try to add your own thoughts to the photos posted by others, too...
Hi Paul, I agree with Morkel's comments. This scene photographed at the edge of the day would be quite stunning I think...perhaps worth a re-visit one day :)
