    This House Wren spent 10 minutes or so checking me out. Image was taken at Beverley Swamp in the Flamborough area (Ontario)
    I used a Canon 5D3 with a Canon 500 F4 Mk2
    Image about 50% cropped and with small adjustments in Lightroom
    ISO500
    f9.0
    1/500 sec

    Bill:

    Nice of him to cooperate! Nice perky pose, eye is excellent.

    Dappled lighting can be a real challenge, but it worked pretty well here.

    Would prefer him to be slightly higher in the frame if you have the canvas to work with.

    I might soften the specular reflection just to the right and above the tail.

    A nice pose and capture. A slight toning down of the stripped bark area behind the head might improve image IMHO
