Just one more of this lovely garden tick. A nice over the shoulder look .
Cropped to about 70% of original. Lightened and sharpened.

Another very nice shot of the parakeet! Very good focus and exposure control. While I like the OP, I think a vertical crop would be nice also.

I am not familiar with this species so may be wrong about this - the back of the head and breast look a bit bright? Regards, Ian.

Your original post is ok with me Ivan, think that pink in the bg lifts the image, bird fits well into that setting, nice work.

I used to breed these as a kid, the colours are spot on for this male. Nice to see them flying free.

Even better than the last and the last was good. Colours are spot on.

I love all the leaves strewn around here and the matching plumage colour. I'm OK with the comp as is (Karen's take on it is nice too). I do find the oof branch along the top a bit unfortunate, but the rest of the image is strong enough.

Very nice, sharp and good HA and perch. My immediate nit that came to mind was the OOF branch running across the top of the frame and the attached foliage that is behind the birds head...I find this a bit distracting in an otherwise great image.

Hi Ivan, lovely pose, and I like the colours on this fellow, together with the great feather detail that you have captured. I really like the pink splashed in the BG.
