Another early morning image, this one perched on a Cedar tree, from the BCNH and YCNH Rookery two weeks ago. C&C welcome.

Simple but very nice shot Geoffrey. I like the details throughout and it all just works well together

Very pleasing image of the night heron, good balance between perch/foreground and back ground, nice even light, good pose and details. Very nice work.

Lovely image and pretty much faultless IMHO.

Lovely. Nice pose with perfect HA and good exposure. Nicely framed within the red-cedar berries (Juniperus virginiana), against the smooth marsh background. White balance is neutral, and looks fine as posted, although I might have expected it to be somewhat warmer given the early morning light.

Got to be about perfect exposure, lots of detail in the whites, Cedar perch adds just a bit more interest ,fine piece of work.

Love the frame. Awesome exposure on the BCNH. The BG is very neat and I like the perch too.

I love the perch this fella is standing on, quite unusual and effective. Good BG too. Would have been able to move to your right a bit more? Maybe not, but if so, why could this have been a good idea?
