    Kelp bed, East Iceland coast.
    Very common there, I had never seen one.

    A excellent image Dan. Well posed and exposed and good detail. I think you may have been a bit too aggressive on NR for my taste though.

    Unique perch, and the BG colours and patterns are beautiful. Good subject, well exposed and with tons of detail. I could see a slightly warmer version, or with the colours punched up just a bit (except for the subject). Very nice.

    Wonderful Bg with all the different hues and colours,a very sharp and detailed bird, cracking piece of work.

    Nice image, unique perch and perfect pose, Dan. I would warm up either the whole image or the background and the kelp bed.

    Very nice image. Good pose, kelp patch is a great perch and the background is nice and smooth with the same colours of the foreground. Nothing I can say but great image....

    You captured this beauty in his environment nicely, Dan. Like his colors contrasting with the kelp bed. Great BG too.
