We came across this lovely water hole in a valley surrounded by low hills in Chobe. A herd of eles were enjoying the precious aqua. It was awesome to watch this from the edge of a small hillock. Light was a bit harsh so I thought B&W was apt.

Hi Sanjeev i like the shot from the symetrical POV with the left elephant filling the LHS with life , balancing the image from my POV .
But as an image from the conversion POV and tonal range it does not grab me , sorry . I understand the light was surely not on your side .I also do find the very light sky a bit distracting grabbing too much of my attention .
Hi Sanjeev - This looks like one of those scenes you encounter on your trip where you really enjoy it and want to capture it but because of the harsh light, it is difficult to do it justice. I agree with Andreas that as a b&w this just isn't grabbing me. I think the problem for me is that the eles are very dark and lack detail compared to the rest of the image so my eyes tend to explore the more detailed brush in the bg and pass over the eles. Sorry.
