This striking woodpecker stands out well against that BG,can't make up my mind if it could do with loosing a bit from the bottom but that would loose the branches ,age thing Joe can make up my mind, nice work.
Very nice capture, Joe. If it was mine, I would end the canvas where the branches end on either side.
With other words, I would take half an inch off from the left and right side.
This is a striking, thought-provoking image. Love the vegetation at the bottom, lichen and high key. It's quite artistic. I took this image into PS and like the crop you chose the best.
Well composed and generally striking image. It is a pity about the branch that sticks out near the bird's bill....but that as they say is out of your control.
