    D810, 600 FL, ISO 640, 1.4TC, f5.6, 1/200


    I cannot tell you how happy I am with the new Nikon 600FL lens. This is full frame, shot in very low light, wide open with a teleconverter at 1/200th shutter handheld from a boat. The new "Sport" option for VR is just incredible, along with edge to edge sharpness wide open. This was taken late last night (when I could pry it away from my participants hands :-)

    A wonderful image and composition Alan and one that I would be over the moon to have:). I might do a little soft burning on the vegetation to give the image a bit of depth and help the owl stand out just a bit more.

    Yes its a dream of an image! I agree a bit of burning especially on the corners.
